Crock-Pot Beef Recipes Everyone Can Follow

We all know not everyone isn't made to be in the kitchen or in front of the grill, or even in charge of the Crock-pot, but with these EASY beef recipes, your guests, friends and family will be thinking you're a gourmet chef who slaved over the meal for hours. When in reality, you were at work, relaxing with a good book, playing with the kids, or even taking a nap. Everyone also knows not all beef and ingredients are equal which is why we like to use A & B Hill Ranch, Inc. all natural beef; it's lean, flavor packed, healthy, and delicious!


Crock-Pot Cajun Roast with Broccoli & Cauliflower

We love this recipe, it's easy, we always have the ingredients (I pre-make the Cajun Seasoning and use it when I make steamed broccoli, asparagus, chicken, fish, etc.). Put your choice of beef roast in your crock-pot on low for 4-6 hours or high to 6-8 hours with some water, beef bullion/seasoning, and Cajun Seasoning.


Steam broccoli and cauliflower or your choice of veggie, when it's nearly done to your liking, remove from pan and add a Tablespoon salted butter to melt. Once butter is melted, add Cajun Seasoning (add as much or as little as you'd like, if you like spice and salt add a lot, if not, add a little).


Cajun Seasoning:

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika

It's Gettin' Chili

This is by far one of our favorite recipes, it's so easy and so delicious--PERFECT for those chili lovers.

Brown Ground Beef & drain (if greasy). Place in a Crock-Pot and add all ingredients, cook on high for 4-6 hours.

  • 2 lb. Ground Beef

  • 28 oz. Diced Tomatoes in Juice x2

  • 16 oz. Kidney Beans, Drained

  • 15 oz. Pinto Beans, Drained

  • 2 small Onion, diced

  • 3 T. Chili Powder

  • 2 t. Cumin

  • 1 t. Black Pepper

  • 1 t. Salt

  • 1/2 t. Oregano

  • 1 t. Sugar

  • 2 t. Garlic Powder

  • 2 c. Water

Easy Beef Stew

Beef Stew is an easy favorite around our household, it's not time consuming and you can add just about anything to it that everyone will love. Stew Meat is notoriously tough meat, we've discovered it becomes more tender after marinating or cooking in the Crock-Pot 4-6 hours. This is great with egg noodles instead of potatoes, as well.


Add Stew Meat, beef bullion, onion, garlic to Crock-Pot for 4-6 hours then add remaining ingredients.

  • 2 lb. Beef Stew Meat

  • Beef Bullion

  • 1 Small Onion, minced

  • 2 T. Garlic, minced

  • 4-6 Potatoes, depending on size

  • 5-6 Carrots, chopped - bite size


Flank Steak Fajita's

Like Beef Stew Meat, Flank Steak is a very tough piece of meat, therefore, the more time to marinate--the better! Now, we usually let this cook in the Crock-Pot for roughly 6 hours as a whole piece after marinating for about 24 hours.

After the Flank Steak had time to marinate for roughly 24 hours, we add it to the Crock-Pot and cook on high for 4-6 hours with marinade. Once cooked thoroughly, we place sliced peppers, onions, and Flank Steak in a skillet and cook together until peppers are at desired tenderness. When the peppers and onions are almost cooked to your preference, add sugar and other seasons. Serve with cilantro (optional) in a soft shell taco.


Marinade:

Place in a zip-lock baggie or in a plastic container.

  • 1/2 c. Worcestershire Sauce

  • 2-3 T. Garlic, minced

  • 2 T. Olive Oil

  • 3 T. Honey

  • 1/4 c. Lime Juice

  • 1 t. Red Pepper Flakes

  • 3 T. Fajita Seasoning

Fajita Seasoning:

Place in a small jar and mix together.

  • 1 c. Chili Powder

  • 1 c. Ground Cumin

  • 6 T. Paprika

  • 1 c. Garlic Powder

  • 2 t. Salt

  • 2 t. Black pepper
